The subject of the first Iowa Family Impact Seminar, held on July 16, 2010, was Financial Literacy and Workforce Development for the Family.
The featured speakers were Jeanne Hogarth and Harry Holzer.
Jeanne Hogarth serves as the Manager, Consumer Education and Research Section of the Division of Consumer and Community Affairs for the Federal Reserve Board. Her presentation was entitled "Financial Capability and Workforce Development".
Harry Holzer is a Professor of Public Policy at the Georgetown Public Policy Institute. His presentation was entitled "Workforce Training: What Works? Who Benefits?"
